Olympic silver-medallist Vicky Thornley came through the GB Rowing Team Start programme to establish herself as one of the world's leading scullers. Thornley won a silver medal for Great Britain with Katherine Grainger in the women's double sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
